I know TARA from TCC days. Elsa was a crazy reactive scared dog then. Just rescued just recovered from major surgery… No exposure to the world, accident trauma, badly bred.. so many things going badly for her. Tara took her through a lot of behavioural training, helped crate train her, handheld me through a lot of good and bad days with no judgement. At CANINE SYNERGY, Elsa went for a month’s board & train where my main goals were leash walking, swimming & less reactivity to dogs & humans. GOKUL was her trainer & friend there. All three goals were worked on & i was trained on how to continue working on her. They sent pics & videos every day & i knew she was well taken care of.From being a dog that reacted to every random human & was scared of a falling leaf, Elsa & I now go on girls only road trips, jump into water(though with great concern) and run around in random places(you need to know Elsa to know how scary this is for her). She is a completely different dog from what she was when we first started this journey & for that i am completely indebted to both Tara & Gokul.(To top it all off, even now as an overly proud pet parent, when i send them up of Elsa, updates, in the middle of all the things they have to do, they still indulge me & respond with all the right things to say. :) )Would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking to work with dogs you think are “too much” to handle. When you don’t know what you are doing, please go talk to the professionals. They know a lot of things you don’t.
